Looking for a team of experienced wood-workers with basic tools that are strong, creative and can dedicate 10 out of 14 days to the restoration of the Peters Island Lighthouse. The restoration will take place between August 15th and September 30th. A typical day will consist of breakfast, boat ride to the island, work for 8 hours and eat lunch on the island and boat back to home base for supper.
The Prize: You get to be a part of the restoration of a historic lighthouse. We supply the materials, we feed you three meals a day and we house you.
Your commitment: You get yourself to Westport (Nova Scotia), you spend 5 days a week working for 2 weeks.
